The sacred Aussie accord between Shiraz, Cabernet and the Barossa. All Grant Burge red wines are vinified at the illustrious Illaparra wineworks, proudly displaying their Barossa provenance on every bottle as an assurance of integrity. All Grant Burge vines are spoiled with attention, pruned, cropped and encouraged to achieve maximum development of varietal characters in the fruit, the magic grail of good flavour, judicious acids and ripe, supportive tannins.

A wine of pure Barossa fruit by a master who loves Cabernet Shiraz and is devoted to his valley home. Vines are encouraged to allow maximum development of varietal characters and concentration of flavour. Fruit is picked at complete ripeness from Burge’s own estate vineyards and those of distinguished Barossa growers. Grapes are crushed, de-stemmed and fermented over the course of a week, pumped over daily for optimal extractions. Free runs and pressing are racked and returned for deep colour and sound structure, followed by a term of age in a selection of the finest seasoned oak barrels.
